The right web and experience design would enable thousands of patients and medical professionals, visiting the site, to easily navigate a vast library of information about eye health resources.
The BC Doctors of Optometry is a leading medical association of British Columbia & Western Canada.
For the public, the benefits of the association’s research, up to date information, aims to engage people province wide and increase awareness, notably also for children’s eye health. For professional Optometry members, the association builds connection and community with major industry partners, government organizations, to further improve health care services in Western Canada.
The goal was to present an extensive library of medical-related resources to the reader while maintaining a satisfying and engaging experience. Actively connecting medical resources to community needs also means meeting patients where they’re located. For example, the “find a doctor” page informs patients on how to connect with doctors in their community, and near to where they live. By assembling visual designs, flow concepts, and information organization, CMPNY Digital’s design team retained the association’s brand guide, while re-casting it on the new site architecture making it comfortable to navigate and explore.
